Maybe March IS Spring

Sun has shown his face.
Birds are chirping me awake.
Daffodils have buds.

Something new to share,
you'll have to wait 'til Wednesday.*
My cloud has lifted

*Nobody actually pronounces Wednesday with 3 syllables, right?

Yes. Wednes-day.
Definitely.

If I can alternately use the word haiku as either 2 or 3 syllables (in Japanese it truly is 3, promise) based on whim and what fits, I'd say Wens-day is perfectly 2, also, since that's how I pronounce it.

Oooh, upcoming news!

We have nothing but snow and mud here. Blah.

The snow from yesterday is melting. Tomorrow it could be 80 again. I hope spring shows up soon!

Dude, I'm so glad that I'm caught up and back to visiting me ol' bloggy friends in time for some good news!

Oh! And I'm really southern- so even the word "I" has an extra syllable. :)

If the daffodils are budding here it is under a foot of snow....

Now I am intrigued. Or nosy. You choose....

Wednesday (with two syllables, definitely) is so far away!!!

I couldn't spell Wednesday until I was an adult because I stubbornly insisted that those middle syllables did NOT belong.

Um, no, there's too much FREAKIN' SNOW outside for it to be Spring. GRRR . . . .

Wednesday, huh. I'll be back then to find out what secret you are keeping.
