Haiku Family

Haiku Friday

Thumb-sucking, slobber,
Smiles that make me warm inside.
My heart keeps growing.

Mispronounces all.
Says I'm perty when I'm not.
He fills me with joy.

Tiny voice, strong will.
We need each other deeply.
Love her beyond words.

Firstborn, brain like mine,
But soul is pulled from Father.
We both puff with pride.

Here before them all.
Father: strong, brave, resourceful.
Rest my heart on him.

That was great...thanks for sharing. I also love the line, "rest my heart on him." If I were you I'd write this and display it someone in your home. It's that beautiful.

I miss when they mispronounce, too. I still get some verbal dyslexia from the little one, though.

Happy hai-day
